Event: During this session, we were required to show a brief update of our progress to tutors, via a presentation.
Feelings: I was feeling anticipation to receive feedback on my work and thought this exercise is going to be very useful. Overall I had a good feeling about my presentation but felt like I could have mentioned more information, but felt unsure if I was going on the right track.
Evaluation: The situation was very informative. it was good to hear that I was on the right track about the indicators and metrics that I wanted to use in my assignment. It was a good experience.
Analysis: The situation was motivating and allowed me to gain confidence in my work, and show any more improvements I could bring forward.
Conclusion: I could have possibly given extra information on some sections of the presentation, with further research, this would mean I could have gained more feedback on my work.
Action Plan: If the situation arose again, I would consider bringing some useful sites which can monitor demographics for Twitter and Facebook to show to my tutor, this would eliminate any uncertainties and could be helpful to others in the class as well.
